We had a lovely stay at Burlees Nest Villa in the beautiful Lake district. The villa was incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner even called us in the morning to provide directions for getting the keys. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful gestures, like the bottle of wine and milk waiting for us in the fridge upon arrival.
Nothing could be better - it was a perfect stay! 😊

Lovely place to stay in the stunning Lake District. Very comfortable with all essential amenities. Owner personally called with directions and left a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge. Perfect for a group of friends.
Felt at home during our stay, nothing was too much trouble.

The nearby golfing and fishing were just divine! The complimentary WiFi was a lifesaver, and having private parking was a posh touch. Newcastle International Airport was conveniently close.
Oh, how I missed a self-service launderette in the oh-so-thrilling town of Cockermouth! Such a tragedy.

Great location - the hotel was situated in the beautiful Lake District, which made for a lovely Easter getaway. The surrounding area was picturesque and provided plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities and scenic walks.
No self-service launderette - as we stayed for three nights, it would have been convenient to have a washing machine on-site. Unfortunately, there was no self-service launderette in the nearby area, which made it inconvenient for us to wash our clothes during our stay.

Located in the epic Lake District, it was the perfect base for our adventure. We spent our days cycling through breathtaking scenery and working up a sweat. The place itself was super comfy and had everything we needed. The owner even hooked us up with a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge, cheers!
If there was one thing we could've asked for, it would've been a sick party spot nearby. Don't get me wrong, we had a blast exploring and cycling, but a happening nightlife scene would've taken our vacay to the next level.

Mind-blowing place in the stunning Lake District! Super cozy and well-equipped, with an off-site car park. The owner's morning call with directions was a nice touch. Loved the complimentary bottle of wine and milk in the fridge on arrival. The wi-fi was reliable, perfect for sharing jaw-dropping photos of our cycling adventures, fishing trips, and rounds of golf at the nearby course. Plus, they allow pets and a strictly no smoking policy on site. Can't ask for more!

It was the perfect location for our family cycling adventures, with beautiful trails like Whinlatter and Honister Pass right on our doorstep. The owners were incredibly helpful and even called us in the morning to provide directions and arrange for us to collect the keys. We were delighted to find a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge upon arrival, adding a personal touch to our stay.
My kids wished there was a washing machine on-site.

Loved the golfing and fishing nearby, they really know how to keep guests entertained! The complimentary WiFi and private parking were a nice touch, and the owner was so thoughtful, even calling us with directions! And let's not forget the bottle of wine and milk in the fridge, so generous!
No self-service launderette, how inconvenient! I guess they assume everyone comes here with a personal laundry staff.

I had a fantastic stay at a lovely place in the Lake District. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything I needed - a real home away from home. The owner even called me in the morning to provide directions for getting the keys. Upon arrival, I was delighted to find a bottle of wine and some milk in the fridge. The thoughtful gesture made me feel instantly welcome. The only downside was the lack of a washing machine on site, which would have been convenient for a longer stay. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this place for its cozy atmosphere and great attention to detail. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The Lake District rocks for young adventurers like us. We went cycling in the area and it was dope! The views were mind-blowing, plus the trails were sick! The place itself had all the chill vibes, with comfy digs and everything we needed. Shoutout to the owner for hooking us up with the keys and even leaving a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge. So rad!
If there's one thing that could've made our stay even more lit, it would be having a self-service launderette on site. We were there for three nights and our party-going crew could've used a washing machine.

The room at Burlees Nest was cozy and comfortable, with a warm ambiance that made me feel right at home. The two bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower, were a great convenience. I especially loved soaking in the tub after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shower in one of the bathrooms. But hey, different strokes for different folks, right?
